Spring Statement 2022

Yesterday Rishi Sunak announced a host of financial changes in his Spring Statement.

Highlights from the statement:

• Fuel duty will be cut by 5p per litre from yesterday until March 2023
• Income tax cut by 1% from 2024
• National Insurance threshold increased from £9,880 to £12,570 from July 2022
• Employment allowance increased from £4,000 to £5,000 in April 2022
