Meet Salvatore Le Piane – Tree Accountancy’s Accounts and Audit Manager

We sat down with our newest member of the team: Salvatore, to find out more about his professional background, his aspirations for his first few months at Tree, who he is outside the world of accounting, and much more!

Can you tell me about your accounting career so far?

“Throughout my career I’ve had the opportunity to work across several areas of accounting, ranging from accounts preparation and audit to tax advisory for both individuals and companies. Most recently, I have specialised in corporate finance advisory. I’ve also had the opportunity to work for both large international and regional firms, which has helped me develop the skillset needed to support clients with a wide range of needs.”

What is something in your career that you are especially proud of?

“Receiving the academic award for Best Dissertation in Valuation during my MSc programme, which is a key topic in corporate finance.”

What is your new role at Tree, and what will you be focusing on?

“My role will be Audit, Accounts and Advisory Manager.

In addition to providing audit, accounts, and tax advisory services, I will also focus on corporate finance and due diligence advisory for clients who are looking to grow and maximise value through M&A transactions.”

What are you hoping to achieve in your first few months?

“Introducing corporate finance and due diligence advisory as a new service for Tree.”

What are you most excited about working for Tree?

“What excites me the most is being part of a talented and driven team who have a strong appetite for growth.”

“I am a master wine and coffee sommelier.”
