Celebrating 10 Years of Abigail at Tree Accountancy

This month marks a special milestone at Tree Accountancy as we celebrate 10 years since Abigail Brooks joined the team.

Abigail began her journey with Tree back in June 2015, joining as an Accounts Apprentice. In those early days, much of her work was office-based and hands-on – from bookkeeping and typing up records to organising paper files and handling admin tasks.

Over the past decade, Abigail’s career has grown alongside Tree. She’s worked across every department in the business – completing tax returns, managing payroll to producing year-end accounts. That hands-on experience gave her a deep understanding of how each part of the business operates, and paved the way for her next role as a Client Manager.

In that position, Abigail was the main point of contact for a portfolio of clients, preparing their management accounts, VAT returns and year-end financials, while also supporting them with day-to-day queries.

As Tree continued to evolve, so did Abigail’s role. She played a key part in helping to define the business’s team structure, contributing to the creation of the Growth Team – a team focused on helping clients understand the drivers behind their numbers and plan for the future.

Now, as Head of Growth Advisory, Abigail leads the charge in delivering strategic insight to clients, helping them make confident decisions and move their businesses forward.

“One of the most rewarding parts of my role is building relationships with clients — understanding where they want to take their business and being part of that journey. It’s great to advise and review progress with them along the way.”
